Our classic Zephyr design, with a fully chambered body for big open resonant sounds and rich harmonic voicing. Again combining the tuning stability and enhanced clarity of the 25.5” scale length with the comfort and speed of a 12” fretboard radius, coupled with a lightweight body featuring clean lines of binding and a hand carved bolt on neck.
We have partnered with Monty’s to create some bespoke pickup sets which take advantage of the full sonic range of our instruments. A P90 and a Firebird pickup wound to live together in a cohesive yet pallete-expanding pairing; a Jazzmaster neck pickup combined with a vintage voiced P90 in the bridge..
We strive to build guitars that feel like you've been playing them your whole life - your guitar should feel like an extension of you. We hand carve every neck to ensure all positions up the fretboard are effortlessly comfortable. Fret ends and neck edges are rolled for a vintage played-in feel. The lacquer on the back of the neck can be sanded to a thin sheen, and we can employ ageing techniques and checking to thin nitro lacquer coats on the body. All this comes together to achieve perfect balance of a vintage instrument with modern playability.
